Upside Down

"I want turn the whole thing upside down. I'll find the things they say just can't be found.......

I'll share this love I find with everyone, we'll sing and dance to Mother Nature's song." -Jack Johnson

THRILLER

Don't you just remember the first time you saw thriller?

Or the first time you listened to the Album?

Rember when you learned the Moon walk?

And Remember when you used to only put on one glove, joke around and talk in a really high voice?

And Remember how Captain EO saved the day??

What makes me pause and think about his death, is all the memories I have where Micheal Jackson's music is playing in the background. I still can't get over the fact that he was fifty? Fifty............ really? I thought he was some where around thirty? Where did the time go? Listening to his early music takes me right back to when I was in second grade riding home from Patio Springs, w/ Jamie and my cousin Patty, all the while Thriller, Billy Jean or Beat it was playing on the radio. AND, just for the record, I am still mad Disney got rid of Captain EO. Godspeed Captain.

I bet you don't read this every day on your various blog rounds.

Nanner pooped on the tramp two days ago. The bros and cousins Alex and Luke, were totally grossed out. After the "incident" They came bolting into the house all excited to tattle tale on him. Sure enough when I looked out there were two fine Nanner feces specimen adorning the tramp. I couldn't have been prouder! By baby is growing up. They were all saying words like "disgusting!" "YuCK!" "I am totally gagged out!!!" ANd my all time favorite, "I am never jumping on that tramp AGAIN!!" I said that I would clean it up in a minute. Well, what happened over the next ten minutes was disgust turned into fascination, that turned into a dare. They just couldn't leave well enough alone. First it was "I dare you to jump on the tramp with the poop."So one by one they each took their "dare" turn making a quick jump on the tramp and then fleeing off it as fast as they got on. Then the dare turned into, "I dare you to do two jumps on the tramp with the poop." Each one succumbed to the peer pressure and the thrill of the "hot" potato really being a "HOT" potato. Well two jumps turned into,"I dare you to do a trick, on the tramp with the poop." One by one the front flips and back flips were thrown down all to the thrills and laughter of the on looking crowd. I have never seen such agility, form and preciseness to their jumping, they were flawless in their execution, all the while two large Tootsie rolls bounced around their tumbling moves. I laughed myself silly watching it. Of all the times to not have my video camera handy. The blackmailing could have gone on for years. There was even a line that formed on top of the shed for who got to "go next." Who got to be the lucky one to jump with Nanner's poop. I did end the fun when a log graced the cheek of a child while in a mid-air front flip. I was so sad when the fun ended, because it was quite possibly one of the funniest thing I have ever witnessed. And I thought WOW life in the country doesn't get any better than this. Reality TV......................you better up your game...................there is fierce competition waiting in the wings......................it is called life -unscripted.
